My Lazy Girl

He crossed his arm across mine, held my hand and blew a soft kiss over it....... It has been raining the entire day. Monsoon has knocked the door of India. Impressive !! I have just came from office after attending a meeting with my lead and after completing all the work but rain falling down my window pane keeps me invigorating! I am alone in my room in this beautiful weather (injustice, isn't it?) . I so wanna go out but nobody to accompany me. Ahh ...Let it be !! Rain reminds of many things... Rain reminds me of Kabir...!!  We ignored the red alert of the nature !! We were    given a hint... But Alas !! Fortune had its own mischievous tricks to play. It was coming......................... !! Everything comes to life, when planet Earth experiences a lovely shower. The soil emitts it's true fragrance when intermingled with the heavenly drops. Leaves and flowers radiate their bold colours out of sheer happiness. Humans like me, spread their arms, close their eyes and gaze at the sky.... Welcoming every kiss from nature on their bodies. I clearly remember, how we used to go to Gurudwara in Chennai. There were two reasons behind it. Firstly we used to get "langar" ( a good Punjabi food, first offered to the God, then to devotees). Being a Punjabi, south India food was something hard to live on ! Secondly, it made us feel homely.  We used to meet people who belong to our community. Rawjyot, Kabir and I were constants. I felt like a Queen who was ready to ride among the stars with those dense clouds to conquer the world !! I followed Peter, as I surpassed the security check on the entrance. I was mesmerized to see the whole new world when I stepped in. "Hurry up, come here ! "Mam can I see your ticket?" Asked a smoking handsome gentleman as he gestured his hand towards me. I fell for him that moment.
